What should I pack for the desert night?

The desert can be very cold at night and hot during the day. We recommend layered clothing, a warm jacket, comfortable shoes, a scarf, sunscreen, and a camera.

Are the meals included?

Dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2 at the desert camp are included. Lunches on both days are not included and will be at local restaurants at your own expense.

What is the accommodation like in the desert?

You will stay in a traditional nomadic tent camp, which offers a basic but memorable experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the Sahara environment.

Day 1: Agadir to Zagora Sahara Desert

Morning Pick-up: Departure from your hotel in Agadir.
Scenic Drive: Travel through Berber villages and the High Atlas Mountains.
Taliouine: Visit the capital of saffron.
Taznakht: Stop in the capital of Berber carpets and enjoy lunch.
Zagora Arrival: Arrive at the desert with stops for photos of kasbahs and palm tree oases.
Camel Ride & Sunset: Experience a camel ride around the dunes (can be done on Day 2 for sunrise).
Desert Camp: Check into nomadic tents for an overnight stay.
Dinner & Entertainment: Enjoy dinner, local music, and stargazing in the Sahara.

Day 2: Zagora to Agadir via Ouarzazate

Sunrise: Optional early morning to enjoy the desert sunrise.
Breakfast & Departure: Breakfast at the camp before driving towards Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate Visit: Explore the “Taourirt Kasbah” and the “Atlas Cinema Studios.”
Ait Ben Haddou: Free time to explore the famous Ksar Ait Ben Haddou and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Return Journey: Drive back to Agadir through the Atlas Mountains.
Afternoon Drop-off: Arrival in Agadir scheduled for the late afternoon.
